Did You Know These Worst Bollywood Remake Songs?

Naach aur gaana (dance and songs) are the heart and soul of Bollywood movies and that makes them unique. Since inception, this industry has followed the path of original music with mesmerizing rhythm. Also, this unique quality always stands out in our films. However, new age music composers look lazy as they are coming up with some worst Bollywood remake songs that are not at all comforting. Some songs after rehash have worked wonders, but some have literally spoilt the essence and charm of those old Hindi songs. Making foot tapping songs is ok, but the gaudy picturization with some pathetic rap is something I personally don’t like at all. So, hereby presenting the worst Bollywood remake songs list that I personally think shouldn’t have been made at all!

  • Ek Do Teen (Baaghi 2)

Top on the list is definitely this new remake which is a bummer. There is no match to the original classic song which was surreal with Madhuri Dixit’s dance moves and expression. Well, this new song has oomph factor but it has killed the essence of the original song. And Jacqueline you are an amazing dancer but if you are trying to get into the shoes of Madhuri, then it’s a bad idea!

  • Tu Cheez Badi Hai Mast Mast (Machine)

No one can match up to the moves and chemistry of Akshay Kumar and Raveena Tandon. This song is not only disastrous but is full of bland expressions with zero chemistry. This song is from the movie Machine and the song complements the title of the movie. This is one of the worst Bollywood remake songs I have ever come across.

  • Haseeno Ka Deewana (Kaabil)

Firstly, Amitabh Bachchan literally nailed this song with his dance moves and it cordially suits its genre – musical drama film. But this remake song, is a complete let down with no context and it’s too glittery. Watching Urvashi Rautela dance to Amitabh’s song was a traumatic experience that is irreparable.

  • Oye Oye (Azhar)

I still love watching Tridev for its legendary song – Oye Oye which is a perfect blend of foot tapping music and dance moves. Most importantly, I love watching this song only and only for Madhuri Dixit, but Sangeeta Bijlani and Sonam have also done a good job. But Nargis Fakhri stepping into the shoes of Sangeeta was a bad idea. Many felt that she added the oomph factor, but that’s it! There’s anything more to it!

  • The Humma Song (Ok Jaanu)

Why this song, after all? It was one of my favourite songs when I was a child. The film Bombay proves the musical prowess of A. R. Rahman. However, this Bollywood remake song has totally failed to the core. Loved the dance moves and chemistry of Aditya Roy Kapur and Shraddha Kapoor but apart from that, there’s nothing!

  • Gulabi 2.0 (Noor)

Actually, I wasn’t aware of this movie, but heard this song on the radio and my curiosity lead me to explore it. Oh! And it turned to be one unforgivable mistake. The world knows that Mohammad Rafi was a legend and matching to his magic is definitely a crime and the makers have committed it!

Well, this is my worst Bollywood remake songs list. Do you have it too? Then share it in the comments section and enlighten me with some more worst Bollywood remake songs.
