Haran Tekdi
Haran Tekdi (small hill) also known as Harneshwar Tekdi is the best place for some pleasant mornings. As it is a small hill, the climb is very easy. Interestingly, in a few parts of hills, you will find small natural steps as well. Once you are up on the hill, the view is just mesmerizing. It overlooks the railway tracks and the entire area of Talegaon station. There is a small shrine of Lord Shiva which is in the midst of trees. The temple is surrounded with concrete seating where you enjoy the sunrise and sunset.

Talegaon Lake
A scenic lake surrounds in the outskirts of Talegaon Dabhade area. Recently, this beautiful lake was renovated which is now surrounded by a jogging track. Interestingly, an old well was also found while digging the lake. And this, added to the rich history of Talegaon Dabhade area. To beautify this place, even more, various trees have been planted and with ongoing monsoons, the water in the lake is filling up faster.

As soon as Dominos set foot in Talegaon area, it became like heaven for many. Because as a Talegaonkar, we had to travel to the surrounding regions for scrumptious food. Shri Parshwa Pradnyalaya Jain Shwetambar Tirth Pedi – Jain Temple
Shri Parshwa Pradnyalaya is heaven for Jain devotees. The temple is beautifully sculptured in marble and it is extremely pleasant. Situated in the foothills, the temple offers an amazing view. Cleanliness is the forte of this temple and the silent atmosphere adds to the calmness. Several pilgrims from Pune and Mumbai flock this place in large numbers.

Bhandara Dongar
Bhandara dongar (hill) is another small hill which has a beautiful temple of Saint Tukaram. The connecting road towards the temple is in good condition but it is a small ghat. The turns on the road are snake-like making it a little risky while driving. Also, there is a small flat land just before the temple which gives away an amazing view. Khandi and Thokarwadi Dam
If you think Lonavala has natural waterfalls, then you are wrong. Because Khandi, in the outskirts of Talegaon Dabhade area has become the new hub for a family picnic and monsoon outing. Backwaters of Thokarwadi dam and the beautiful hills with windmills covered in the mist is a treat to watch during monsoons. The only problem is that the connecting road is in poor condition. Pach Pandava Temple
You rarely find a temple that is dedicated to Pandavas (5 brothers) and Draupadi. And one of them is in Talegaon Dabhade area. Though this temple is small, it has some remarkable historical reference. The statues of the five brothers are seated outside and the sleeping statue of Draupadi is inside. The temple is well maintained by the locals and it is believed that the statue of Draupadi changes side.
